D.I.D. Blinds was founded in 1990 for the sole purpose of supplying a turnkey wall covering program to the home building industry.  The decline in the demand for wall coverings offered an opportunity for us to adapt our business model to the window covering industry.  Today, we are the largest manufacturer and importer of 2” faux wood blinds for wholesale distribution in the U.S. and are one of the largest suppliers to the building industry.  We have over 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space supporting us as well as over 50,000 square feet dedicated exclusively to stocking 2” faux wood blinds.  We import over 500 containers of stock blinds annually.  In the event of a shortage in a particular size we simply manufacture those ourselves so back orders are never a problem.  Unlike our competition, we have joint venture relationships with our suppliers to ensure quality as well as adherence to CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Commission) child safety requirements.
